Hey all.... Well, I am LOVING the DSL. I am loving listening to allof my favorite music. And finding new stuff too. I can finally watch video . Work is good. I am really tired, so this is going to be short so I can go lay down. School started. And it looks to be exreamly challenging. We will see. But I will try to get here as often as time permits. Ciao!!!

A Sad Day

Hey all... Well, I went to he funeral, but couldn't bring myself to go to the cemetery. Too many memories haunting me. It was a really nice funeral, as funerals go, but extremely sad. I am still crying as I sit here typing this. They played "Calling All Angels" by Train as the ending song. I love that song and it just made me cry more, so I won't be listening to that song for a while.

I spoke with Angela before I left and told her that I would stop by the lunch thing after the cemetery part. She is so amazingly together and I am the mess. But as I said before, I have memories haunting me. I am glad that I went.

Almost the whole store was there including the management team. I am so tired right now and I am getting a migraine. I have to open tomorrow. I think I may nap a bit. Rest In Peace Angel. We all miss you.

Various Items

Well, now that I have a new computer, I hope tobe posting more often. I have to get used to this new key board though. The "V" key and the space bar are stuck together. OOO, I fixed it!!!! Yay me. That is much better. For a while the "v" key would be pressed when I was trying to put a space in and like wise for trying to use the "v" key, the space would get pressed. Very annoying!!!

Tomorrow is the funeral. I most likely won't post or if I do it will be late. I don't know yet. I am going to get DSL for this computer mostly for school. The intial outlay is $85 but it isn't bad considering I was looking at cable and other things and those are way more expensive!!!

Hope everyone is doing well. I am okay, just tired mostly. I have been on a closing kick and next week is an opening kick. Wish they would make up their minds really. Camping soon. Yay!!!! This is about it. Ciao!!!

Better....

I am doing better with Angel's death today. A lot of the shock has worn off and while I am still sad, I know that she isn't hurting anymore. We at Wal~Mart are raising money for her family in a variety of ways and letting our customers help too. And they have been GREAT!!! I am trying to concentrate on that part of it. I hate that this happened to her.... And I think that someone has to pay for this.... This was not an accident. It was neglect. It could have been prevented. I know that this will sound stupid, but if there is a flag pole where you work or live, take the time to go over and look at it. If it is rusty or doesn't look right tell someone to fix it. You may save a life...

Tragedy....

I have not said anything about the Virginia Tech thing. I have been trying to find sense in a five year old's death. And have failed miserably with that. The fact that these two horrible things happened on the same day has not escaped my mind. I am in shock. I have no words to express what I am thinking or feeling. I guess because I feel numb. I am profoundly saddened by both events and my thoughts and prayers go out to the families effected by this senseless event. I am going to go.... I can't make my brain work right now. Oh and the reason that the flag pole fell? It was rusted out. Nice.

Sadness

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I write this post today. A co workers daughter was killed today at her elementary school when a flag pole fell on top of her. It was caused by hurricane force winds here in Michigan. Angel will be missed greatly. She was a bright shining light to all that knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this time. I am just so profoundly sad that I am not sure what to think or say.....

Tired....

Holy cow, Batman!!! Two nights in a row that I can access Blogger!!!! I may have just jinxed myself though. LOL. Tonight was very tiring at work to say the least. The one night that I have to close and then open in the morning and they don't send anyone home early!! But they have been sending people home early all week so far. That so sucked!!!

But I am off Tuesday, so that is good I guess... I am hoping that this school thing goes well for me. I am a bit worried about it. But I think that I will mostly enjoy it. I should have my Associate degree in about 13 months. Which makes me happy really.

We are counting down until vacation time. And both are REALLY looking forward to that. Right now I am enjoying life a lot. Which surprises me really. Because I never thought that I would ever be saying that about my own life you know? I suffered for so long in Florida and never really knew how happy I could be, and now I do. It is amazing really. But I honestly can say I am happy and really mean it. I really have no stress in my life. Not like before. So, life for me is great!!!! Doug and I are doing well. I have to say that he is amazing about this school, Avon, work thing. He has been so supportive of me.... I am not used to that really.... But it is nice to finally have it. I am yawning way too much as I write this, so I am calling it a night. Ciao!!!!

Dustin' Off The Old Blog.....

Hey ya'all, been a while. I just tried to get to Blogger and low and behold!!!! Yay!!! I have been busy with work and getting my Avon business started and I will be starting school April 27th. So I have been BUSY!!! I am also sick. And it sucks!!!

We will be away on vacation from May 12~18th. Going camping again. I am hopefully going to have a new computer soon, so I am hoping that I will be able to post some of the pics from that trip. At work they are cutting hours. The economy here isn't really getting better, in fact a major bank is pulling out of the state soon. The bank whose name graces the stadium where the Tiger's play as a matter of fact. And Wall Street is considering pulling the state's line of credit. Nice.

I have missed you all..... I will hopefully be able to get back to post more regularly. We will see.... Hope Easter was good for those who celebrated.... Talk to you soon!!!
