DONE With Wal Mart

Hey all... I want to thank those of you who have left comments on my termination. I went today to collect my last paycheck stubs and to get rid of anything Wal Mart basically. I was worried that I would be hassled but I wasn't, which was nice. I also closed my lay away and my savings account at the bank. I am a little sad about the rings, but I guess if it will happen it will happen. I am still selling Avon, so now I need sales more than ever!!! LOL. Go to my site and have a look around, right now if you spend $40 you get free shipping.

I still have school to keep me busy and today I met the personnel manager for Home Depot and I spoke with her a bit and she told me that we would definitely be talking in mid Aug. Which is nice, so I just have to hang out until then. I said good bye to some friends today and I was a bit sad, but we are still going to shop there, so I will see some of them.So it won't be too bad I guess.

I am actually happy to be out of there. I HATED even going into the store at the end. Way too much stress. I don't need that in my life. I did find out that I would end up getting medical insurance at Home Depot after my 90 days, which is what I need. So I am excited about that. And I can still transfer later. So maybe this was supposed to happen. I am not going to let it bother me anymore. I think this is it for me. Ciao!!!!

All That Is Going On

Hey all.... It is me from the unemployed front. I went today and registered for the job bank like I was supposed to do. I am feeling better now that I have done that. I have been catching up on my cleaning since I now have the time. I have been catching up on my movies that I have gotten from Netflix and enjoying it. I have seen some pretty good movies lately. A few have surprised me. One that really surprised me was Guardian with Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher. I am not a Aston fan by any stretch of the imagination. But he was really good in this movie. REALLY. I was so surprised.

I also have seen Four Brothers and The Shooter with Mark Wahlberg. Both excellent movies. Four Brothers was set in Detroit, so it is interesting to see how they used the city in the movie and weird to see some places that I actually know in a movie. But both are definitely worth the time for action flicks. Last night I watched The Good German, which was interesting and is all in black and white. But definitely a good thriller type movie, although Tobey Maguire is in it as a character that he normally doesn't play, it kind of distracted me. I think that they should have cast another actor in the role. But hey, who am I?

I also got to see The Devil Wears Prada, and I actually liked it. I wasn't sure if I was going to because those kinds of movies are not usually my cup of tea. But it was good and Meryl Streep did a great job. So that is what I have been doing. I have a break week this week at school, which is just what I needed really. I did fail marketing, but I am ready to take on English and Business presentations. So, we will see.... I have decided to just go with the flow on the jobless thing for now and concentrate on the things that I can do something about. School and Avon mostly. So, we will see.... I think that this is it for now.

Back!!!

Been away for far too long. I will be here more often now that I have been fired for being sick. Oh trust me, it is not a huge deal to me. I think that the job was making me sick with all of the stress and so forth. I get time to concentrate on school, which is good because I failed my marketing class. Mostly because my teacher wasn't very clear on what she wanted. ::sigh:: So, I will be retaking that class. Which may not be all that bad really. I have applied for unemployment and I will be concentrating on my Avon. So, I will still have stuff to do and I will be trying to get here to be with you.

Right now I have that queasy feeling in the pit of my stomach that comes with any great change in my life. And the questions are swirling in my brain. But I did not do this, Wal Mart did, so why am I questioning if it was the right thing to do? Because I always do that. I know that in the long run, I will be happy. Until I know about the unemployment I will worry because I have bills to pay and all of that. Home Depot will be hiring in mid Aug. so I really don't have to long to wait.

But I think this is it for the update, wish me luck!!!! Ciao!!
